Mechanical Engineering Department
- Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest branch of engineering field which gives solution to various realistic problems and hence is considered as the Evergreen branch.
- Mechanical Department was started at this Institute with an intake capacity of 30 seats in 1983. Since 2008, Department intake is increased to 120 students in first shift and 60 students in second shift. Department is facilitated with different labs namely Thermal Lab, Metallurgy Lab, CAD/CAM Lab, Drawing hall with separate building for Mechanical Workshop having Machine Shops, Carpentry Shop etc. for the development of creativity as well as technical skills in students for their professional growth.
- The teaching learning process is enhanced by the use of student centered techniques and under the guidance of well trained, enthusiastic, self-motivated faculties and staff members.
